I heard this song for the first time a couple weeks ago. But it came out back in 2002. I chose "Make You Feel That Way" as my January Song of the Month in another music community I belong to. January was a surprisingly good month. A lot of positive things happened. There was that week of 60+ degree weather here, I got a new job, came across some extra cash. I'm kinda mad that they didn't have my favorite Blackalicious song on youtube, and that I don't have it in mp3 format to upload. Anyways, this is possibly my favorite rap/hip hop group EVER, so enjoy.

Listening to Blackalicious "Rhymes for the Deaf, Dumb and Blind" at work, and I was thrown back to my elementary school playground days by the lyric, "Yo' ass is grass and I'm the lawnmower" ...

All I want to know are the correct lyrics of the marathon line in this song that goes:
I'm a bartender all into ya'll mental sittin-at-the-bar ventures... ??? ...buzzin' at your door like Jehovah's witnesses in the fall.
If you google it you get like 20 copies of the same wrong transcription. Maybe I'll have to catch GoG backstage to settle it once and for all.

I guess this post could be an extension to my post about connections, but this isn't really a strange connection but a direct one. This song is all about things that make you feel good. I love this song, and it never fails to get me in a nostalgic mood. It reminds me of summer time, relaxing with friends, and just loving life in general.
