Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has denied reports that she will use her songs to promote products, according to NME .
Claims were made the singer had signed a deal with clothing brand Candie's that would involve her including the fashion line in the lyrics of her songs.

This summer, Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am will be releasing a line of jeans titled “i.am Antik", which he describes as "an International Premium lifestyle denim brand". Hey y'all. I was just reading down my MOG and looked at "Top Artists This Week" and was happy with what I saw. It was true. EXCEPT one little band... BLACK EYED PEAS . I find it hard to belive I have been listening to them this week, probably because I DONT OWN ANY OF THEIR MUSIC ! I don't get this - I thought my Mog-O-Meter was going good.. it was. You know... most people don't choose their music. People and executive boards high up in the record industry choose rappers/artists out of the masses to be groomed for radio and television exposure. They decide who comes up, and who does not. Take for example the Black Eyed Peas. The lyrics of their most recent songs are laughable at best and there are thousands of unknown artists who could outshine them easily... yet they are on my radio.
