One of my favorite Ben Kweller's song, had to share it ! One of his few so good piano songs. He has the secret of good, emotional bridges.

Forget, if you must, that it's a showtune, that it trails characters glittery and bizarre. Ben Kweller strips it of these shiny trappings of birth and leaves you with wide-eyed honesty, all youthful & so sorry: You'll never find love faster than when you're sharing schemes of prisonbreak; there's no harder fall than learning the escape was never meant for two.

Is it me or does it seem "homemade" videos that look like they could be on Youtube are all the rage right now. I feel this phenomenon started with the Fat Boy Slim, "Praise You" video and the ball seems to be rolling faster and faster. Youtube has become the place anyone can get their 15 minutes of fame, and it amazes me just how many hits some videos seem to get. I know Ok Go can attribute a lot of their success to this, and now it seems to be catching on with a lot more ... MORE

Ben Kweller's last full length "On My Way" was a total breakout, we all agree, or at least we better. Ben's new self titled album proves it was because after "On My Way" he seems to have quite a bit more production involved in the album. For the first time though Kweller plays all the instruments so you can't negate his musical ability one iota and his lyrical prowess is still amazing. Most bands I see on the tonight show sound terrible, but BK pulls it off! Even as a 3-piece, BK and his band sound great.

I am a follower. My friends have mogs, therefore I must join in the bandwagon. Good thing theyre kinda cool people. i'm not a HUGE fan of benny k and everything he does, but i really like this song (and there's a few more gems hidden in there as well). funny story: ben was here a few months ago and played a live in-store at sonic boom. he played a fun and interesting performance and afterwards, leaving the store my friend almost literally ran into him. hes a nice guy though. we also had an interesting discussion: lots of girls think hes good looking or whatever, but if they were to ...
