Well, the myth has turned into a reality. Bauhaus has released a new album. 25 years since the 1983 swan song "Burning From The Inside" the band returns and leaves forever with "Go Away White." Bauhaus was always an unknown quantity, never the sum of its parts and somehow out of time and place. There's not much point in comparing this band to the band that recorded the last studio album-musical life has lead them all through so much terrain it was bound to produce a work t... MORE
Does anyone know how to get the videos of the Coachella performance that are on I-tunes without having to buy the cd again?

I've been on a major Bauhaus kick this weekend, catching up on my Bauhaus albums and letting my black-clad teenager out (No, I'm not talking about Morgan now.)
This goes out to those who thought them only capable of sounding scary or creepy. Dig the sax from Daniel Ash, the meaty bass line by David J, and Peter Murphy's light touch.
Now dance! Black eyeliner NOT required!
