I'm waiting for my tickets now. Sometimes I'm the most patient person in the world, but not when I'm waiting for tickets! I'm completely frantic until then. And when I'm hungry. Or tired. Anyway. I've always wanted to see Badly Drawn Boy but he always comes and plays at a 19+ venue. (I'll be 19 in 2 months. Yay.) Has anyone been? Is he good? I've done a youtube search and sounds/looks good to me.

Not only does he have one of the best band names in pop music, but Badly Drawn Boy aka Damon Gough can write some amazing songs. I read somewhere that if Beck is this generations Dlyan, then Gough is it's Donovan...and as far as I am concerned that is some pretty high praise. Last night was the third time I saw Badly Drawn Boy. I mean he used to write great catchy pop songs, but his last albums were such a disappointment. Anyhow I wanted to check out his new one _Born in the UK_ on stage, and I'm very sorry to say that I was not convinced once again...The tunes seemed so ordinary.. I'll keep on listening to _The Hour Of The Bewilderbeast_ though So, What happened to BDB? a lack of inspiration, an urge to become extremely popular?

So yeah, I have no idea where I first heard this song. I think I just saw this video on tv one day, and got hooked. I remember not being a big fan of the rest of the album though. In any case, I really like this song, and the video is really cute. And I have BDB tickets for tomorrow. Hoorah!
