30 Seconds To Mars

I just got my hands on this crazy awesome cover. I'm sure you've heard of 30 Seconds to Mars, at least if you listen to popular radio. Recently, they covered Kanye West's "Stronger". It's not too bad. Of course, it doesn't touch Kanye, but it's interesting to hear Stronger being sung like this.

So I bought the album. Whenever I buy an album I am always scared that I'm not going to like it. This album however I stuck in the background while I did some work for uni and shortly I was singing along. From Yesterday especially stuck out. There is not an aspect of this song that I don't like. It gets stuck in my head, which is always a good thing. For an album I just randomly picked up off the shelf...excellent. Now...when's the next live show?

I've been on so many websites of late that just totally bad mouth several bands that I listen to- 30 Seconds to Mars and Society 1. Don't get me wrong, I don't really care whether someone likes one band or another. I hate many many bands, but I usually dislike bands based on their musical merit not whether I think the lead singer is a douche or not. So, being an election year and all, I get a new boss in January. The old one wasn't so bad, nice guy. But with a new boss come new change. I like change. I welcome change. I just hope it is for the better. I've become so frustrated at work that I am almost to the point where I don't like going anymore, wich isn't a good sign at all. When work seems too much like work, and makes me tireder than I should be isn't good at all. I have a meeting with my new boss(es) tonight. So... MORE
