work and stuff weigh heavy lately. i have done all i can all week to restore the super equilibrium and now i'm beat and i'd like to rest. i believe i am up for a break from MOG. anyway, this one's all me. words and music. none of the internet alterego mindfuck. just ilay, hook line sinker. there is no need to judge it, it's just songs. music is powerful but songs need not be precious. i am writing something for myself, can't say more, but one of the things i say there is... Dance rockers !!! (pronounced chk-chk-chk) have released an orgy and cult friendly video for “Must Be The Moon,” their second single off Myth Takes. It basically looks like the octet invited some of their closest friends for a full moon party in their living room. You know the ones where people drink mushroom tea or lick up MDMA from their palms like it’s a pixy-stix and then make out with each other? Beginning today, the band is also taking the dance party to ... MORE
The extra exclamation points are there purposely. I just can't get enough of the band "!!!" (pronounced chk chk chk), especially the album "Myth Takes". Don't have much time to write about this now, but I thought I would share an unbelievable song with you. It's called "Bend Over Beethoven", and while I don't know if they are talking about the dog from the movie (can dogs bend over?) or the dead composer, I just love this song.
Enjoy.
I really don't have anything to say about this band other than I like 'em, and I thought of that post title witout actually having anything to post about. It does however disturb me to no end that they seem to forever be #1 in my iTunes library because of their name. I guess that's until enya enya enya forms.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this song though:
I've been doing a lot of different music-related activities, but have been doing a poor job of documenting them, whether here or elsewhere, so I'd better start rectifying the situation. I'll start with my most recent experience, this past Saturday, of going to Club Congress to see The Field and !!!, the band that's impossible to find in record stores because no one knows where to file its product.
I've never been the go-out-and-dance sort, even though I do enjoy danc... MORE

!!! at the Showplace Theater, Buffalo, NY with The Stay Lows and Holy F--k 5/12/2007 Wow, what a great show! My ears are still ringing. I was five feet from the stage with BrainFoodX and a couple other friends. The Showplace Theater is exactly what it sounds like, a former movie theater turned dive bar. The beer was cheap though, $3.50 each. We got to the venue at 6:50 pm, expecting the doors to open at 7 pm. We were the first "smiling white kids" to arrive, to quote my ... MORE
