During a recent interview with DJ Funkmaster Flex, Snoop Dogg was asked what's left for him to accomplish after 16 years in the industry. The answer? A Grammy. It's hard to believe that after all the huge records like "Deep Cover", "Nuthin but a G Thang", "Drop It Like It's Hot", and "Beautiful" that Snoop didn't win a Grammy somewhere along the way.
It's fairly safe to say he won't be winning one next year either, being that his album is being released one month after the 50th Grammy ceremony. Unless "Ego Trippin" grows legs and has songs that last into the fall, the album will be forgotten by next February. Here's the interview on YouTube.

On Wednesday, Comedy Central ordered pilot episodes of an animated Snoop Dogg comedy series to air in 2008-2009. The untitled show will focus on the adventures of a teenage Snoop Dogg growing up in Long Beach. Some of the same folks behind successful cartoons such as "Andre's Class of 3000".
“We’ve been looking to get into business with Snoop, who’s always fantastic on our roasts,” said Lauren Corrao, Comedy Central’s senior VP of programming and development. “He’s one of those people who truly crosses over between music and comedy.”
