Earlier today TMZ reported that rapper The Game had been released from prison after serving only 8 days of his sentence (read that post *HERE *). We've now learned that the story was only half true. According to Allhiphop.com, The Game was simply transferred to a different prison as a precautionary measure due to his past involvement with gangs.
"He was transferred to an unnamed prison, due to his gang related background," the source told AllHipHop.com.
I can understand this move, who knows what the uproar would be like if a celebrity died in jail as a result of gang violence.

Huh, I didn't even know he went to jail. What did he go for? I used to love rap when I was growing up, but I think I've grown out of it to some extent. I'll still listen to my 2Pac and B.I.G. albums, but the new stuff just doesn't do it for me. The Game is one of the newer artists I can stand.
