In December, R. Kelly missed a court date in Chicago due to a hold up on his tour in Colorado. A mix up with his tour bus paper work caused the issues, and the judge in his child pornography case was less than thrilled. Kelly eventually made it to court the very next day, but missed a concert date in the meantime.
A Nevada based promoter is now suing Kelly for missing that date, and taking a $120,000 fee for the performance regardless. The promoter is now seeking unspecified damages in addition to the 120k R'ra took from him.
R. Kelly's extremely overworked lawyer had no comment on this case.
