MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:

Reigning mixtape king Lil Wayne racked up his third arrest yesterday, and is currently being held by the authorities in Yuma County, Arizona. This doesn't appear to be a run of the mill "small quantity of weed" arrest, because it's been confirmed that Weezy (born Dwyane Carter) was arrested by federal drug agents.

"Mr. Carter is in our custody at this time," Yuma County Chief Deputy Major Leon Wilmot told AllHipHop.com. "But the arrest was performed by another agency. It was a DEA arrest."
Wayne was booked around 6am this morning, and will be arraigned on felony charges of possessing dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Last year Wayne was caught with an ungodly amount of prescription pills, and followed that up with a gun possession arrest in early fall.
Wayne's highly anticipated album The Carter III is due in March.

According to MTV: 200 Tabs, 4 ounces of weed, an ounce plus of coke. He could be looking at a considerable amount of time in jail. I don't know about you guys, but I'm mourning for a little while.

Lil Wayne charges $75,000 for 10-14 bars on other various artists tracks like he has done for the likes of Wyclef and Kanye, not counting a dozen other artists. Adding the income of his mixtapes, concerts and other appearances he makes CASH MONEY. Why would he then go do something so utterly stupid? Isnt it about time to get out of the game when you making millions of dollars? Cant you enjoy your money? or at least pay someone to get your drugs? or just buy dump the drugs before the boarder and then buy more in Miami? Its this example and the rap culture which influence the young black culture and set terrible examples for the youth and perpetuate it to not grow out of this immature phase. I am all down for artists experimenting and doing whatever they want, just dont get caught in the limelight. Come lil weezy use more of your brain then the "ryhme"
