MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:

Yesterday, it was reported that DJ Quik bypassed Interscope Records and released his Fixxers album online via Myspace. While it was true that the album was available for purchase on Myspace, DJ Quik had nothing to do with it. He claims his password was hacked, and the album was an unfinished version.

“As of December 10th, my pass code got stolen by somebody that doesn’t like me,” Quik explains. “His name is Hudson Baxter, he’s a nobody from St. Louis who’s trying to be Suge Knight, a tough guy, he’s trying to beat up everybody in Los Angeles…He stole my shit, and he’s posting stuff and he’s trying to advertise it.”
Quik went on to say that all myspace pages affiliated with him are now out of his control, and he'll be creating a new one soon. He says he's stepping away from the Fixxers album to work with Snoop Dogg on his upcoming album Ego Trippin. "Stepping away from the Fixxers project" seems like a nice way of saying the album won't be coming out any time soon to me....
