All of the album was recorded in Marvin's Room, the former studio of Marvin Gaye. Angie wrote and produced 90% of the album herself, which certainly should be appreciated in todays climate.
Angie says the new album is a comprehensive guide of everything she has gone through in her career.
Stone exclaims, "This is a reflection of where I am both mentally and spiritually and what I feel I've attained at this point in my life."
"Baby" featuring R&B/soul/gospel great Betty Wright and production by Co-T is the first single released to radio. Other guests on the album include James Ingram.
The Art Of Love & War is due in stores October 16th.
