Van Hunt Feeling 'Popular' On New EP & Full Length Album

The diverse Van Hunt has two projects coming up in the next 6 months, but they won't be under the Capitol Records umbrella like his previous works. Hunt has moved on to Blue Note Records for the second phase of his career. The Popular Machine will be a four track EP that will be available only as a digital download starting August 7th. Popular Machine will serve as a preview for the full length Popular album that hits shelves early next year.
The Popular Machine will feature two singles from the full length album which are "Turn My TV On" and "The Lowest 1 Of My Desires." Hunt insists Popular will be his best work yet (don't they all say that?), Hunt told Billboard.com "I think if I can speak artistically, it's just very well put together."
