Angie Stone Previews New Album

Angie Stone recently previewed select tracks from her upcoming album 'The Art of Love and War' which is scheduled for release this summer. The soul songstress is recording the album in the studio where the late great Marvin Gaye created "I want you".
This will be Angie's debut on the legendary Stax Records, which was reopened late last year. Angie notes several inspirations and sources of strength for this new LP, such as old films, and her experience with congestive heart failure last year. Her current collaborators include Chyno and Leon Ware. Stone says she hopes to employ Stevie Wonder and John Mayer to round out album.
