Muxtape Shut Down By The RIAA

The popular playlist sharing site Muxtape.com has been "temporarily" taken offline while they "sort out a problem with the RIAA". A post on Muxtape's Tumblr feed elaborated on the situation a little more, "No artists or labels have complained. The site is not closed indefinitely. Stay tuned."
Depending on who you listen to on this subject, Muxtape's trouble could be interpreted as everything between a minor hiccup and a potentially crippling problem. The RIAA undoubtedly takes issue with Muxtape streaming zillions of songs without paying licensing fees to the proper parties.
I know Muxtape is extremely popular with quite a few Moggers, so this has to hurt.

True, but when when one door closes, another opens..if this one actually closes. Geez though..the RIAA is going after virtual mixtapes. That is really sad!
