**How will the fans react when they have to share the same venue with Gym Class Heroes and their supporters?**
Frankly, I cannot believe you asked that question.
Let me see if I understand this; By "the fans" you ??have?? to mean the fans of **The Roots**, and you wonder how they feel about ??having to share a venue??? Why do you wonder that? Has history suggested that the two do not mix?
>>>>several venues here in Prov. RI, and cities up n down the east coast are declining to book Rap n Hip Hop artists as generally speaking, these events are more....violence prone. Its a sad fact. But a fact none-the-less. This is the elephant in the living room that everyone agrees not to see.
Your approach is a little sensational.... actually its VERY sensational.
Maybe you arent that familiar with the roots and the "Fall Out Boy" incident. It has absolutely nothing to do with violence or rivalries between rap and rock, or rap and indie.
The typical hip hop artist may have a reputation for violent concerts, but the roots are FAR from the average hip hop act. Unlike their peers in the rap community, they've kept their career alive by touring (not by record sales and commercial success). This simply would not be possible if they had a reputation for violent shows.
I dont know how much you know about The Roots, but it sounds like you're talking out of your ass.
Oh, I'm a Roots fan, to be sure. I've seen them three times.
But in the main, I stand by my assertion. And I ask you again, Why did you ask that question?
Im very confused as to why you dont know my reasoning for asking if you're a roots fan.
Do you remember when they released the first single from their last album "Birthday Girl" with Fall Out Boy? The Roots shot a video for it and everything... their fans reacted so negatively toward the song that it was scrapped from the album entirely.
Being that Gym Class Heroes are somewhat similar to Fall Out Boy... won't the fans of The Roots have a similar reaction now that their favorite band has to tour with someone they most likely think sucks?
I wasnt implying there would be any fights or anything like that... but moreso disinterested and annoyed fans when they hear the news.
How does Milwaukee get a date, and minnesota gets nothing. I have seen the gym class heroes several times and have been waiting for a chance to catch the roots
