Here are the top 7 instances of bellyaching in the hip hop community in the last week. Check em out.
Rosie Perez Is Upset At Kanye West [take a number, lady] ( link )
For the second week in a row, Kanye is the target of another angry individual. Actress Rosie Perez is upset with the use of her name in Kanye's song "Good Morning" The line in the song goes "You Got D's, Mutherfucker, D's.... Rosie Perez".... which is a reference to a classic scene in Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing" when Radio Raheem goes to buy batteries..... and of course Rosie has huge breasts (check out "White Men Can't Jump).
"I'm a woman of a certain age and if you're gonna mention me in a song, have a little respect," Perez explained. "He mentions my breasts. When you walk down the street and you have 15-year-old boys.. and they're like, 'Yo, Rosie, D's D's, Rosie Perez,' it's no good."
Joe: "R. Kelly Tried To Sabatoge My Career" ( link )
R&B Singer Joe is claiming that R. Kelly ruined his relationship with Jive Records and played an active role in ensuring his hit records didn't get played on the radio.
"R. Kelly was very instrumental in making a lot of decisions when it came to my records being played on the radio," said Joe. "He would make a call to the radio station or to the label and say, 'Hey, this Joe record is too hot right now. Yall need to pull that back.' And they would oblige."
Killer Mike & Big Boi Kiss and Make Up: Beef Be Gone ( Link )
In last week's beef report, there were two videos from Big Boi and Killer Mike, which COULD have been the start of a classic rap battle. But less than one week later, the men have buried the hatchet thanks to mother nature and Big Boi's son. Killer Mike was on his way to a studio to record a Big Boi diss song on Sunday morning, but a severe storm knocked out power in a large portion of Atlanta. During that time, Big Boi's son convinced his dad to reach out.
"Cross then asked Big, "you and Killer Mike not friends no more?" After Big told him "nah," Cross (just like so many Dungeon Family fans) expressed his dissapointment over the situation. When his son sat quiet and angry, fuming over what he was just told...Big asked what was wrong. Cross responded, "I'm mad you and Killer Mike not friends no more." At that point, Big pulled over and stopped and told Bear (a mutual friend) to call Mike. As Bear was about to call Mike, Mike was calling Bear. Bear answered the phone and handed it to Big Boi...and they had a brief and sincere conversation."
Here is a picture of Big Boi and Mike after they patched things up. When you compare the size of the two men, maybe Big Boi is just a little glad he never ran into Mike in a dark alley.

Also... here's a video of Big Boi and Mike hanging out to listening to Mike's album after they kissed and made up.
Rapper DeLon Launches Anti-M.I.A. Campaign ( Link )
The Sri Lankan rapper also put up a YouTube video criticizing M.I.A. for displaying images that seemingly sympithize with groups known to be terrorists.
"In the video, we didn't really accuse her of being a Tamil Tiger," Marshall Shen, head of DeLon's record label, Ceylon , told me today. "But we're asking, Why she is putting these images out there if she doesn't support them?"
M.I.A. responded with only a few words...
"I don't support terrorism and never have," she wrote in a statement. "As a Sri Lankan that fled war and bombings, my music is the voice of the civilian refugee. Frankly, I am not trying to start dialogue with someone who is really just seeking self-promotion."
Ludacris & T.I.'s Beef Is Over!
Luda and T.I. have had a "rap beef" for at least 4 years or so, it never got to the "I'll shoot you and your mother on May 10th" kinda thing... but they've traded subliminal disses over the years. We can probably put this beef to bed, because Luda just released a duet with T.I. called "Wish You Would" that's appearing on his new album. Click HERE to listen
Mack 10 Has No Beef With Ice Cube
In this radio station crank call, they dial up Mack 10 and try to get him riled up about Ice Cube replacing him in Westside Connection. The funniest part of the video is he thinks "Mozambique" is the name of a rapper and not an African country. I shit you not. LMAO.
Crunchy Black Is Still Mad At 3-6 Mafia
This video of former 3 6 Mafia member "Crunchy Black" shows he's still beefing with his old bandmates.... It's funny and sad at the same time because Crunchy's command of the english language is comically fascinating. He also explains the definition of "Lost In The Sauce"

Man, I was wondering if you would put up the Joe/R. Kelly report. I can completely see R. Kelly doing something like that. Especially considering Joe is mad talented.
I don't know if R. Kelly has THAT kinda pull.. to completely stamp out a hit record...
I remember Young Buck accusing DJ Khaled of being the reason his songs didn't get played in Miami. DJ Khaled responded like "if your record was that hot... one man can't hold it back... great music is going to be heard." (except he said it in that annoying DJ Khaled way).
I feel the same way about this... People always have someone to blame when their album doesnt take off.
I don't know. When you reach R. Kelly status, you have a lot of pull. And if I was Kells, I'd consider Joe a threat. Add to that the way he snapped on Jay-Z when they were on tour together...yeah, I could completely see R. Kelly making some calls to keep a lid on Joe's records. Khaled is one thing, but R. Kelly has infinitely more industry clout. Politics as usual, man.
Anybody happen to know what the hell Crunchy Black is talking about?
Never mind. It's probably a waste of time to try to understand a grown man who calls himself Crunchy Black. I wonder if he's any relation to Sirius Black.
Still laughing about the Mack 10 video
