Any fans of the Afro Samurai series on MOG?
The animated series picked up steam when it aired on Spike TV early last year, an Samuel L. Jackson is looking to bring it to the big screen as a live action film.
"We have a live-action plan," Jackson revealed, saying that he wants to see Afro's battle with Number One up on the big screen with flesh-and-blood actors. "Hopefully, that script will come together and we'll be able to do that in the next two years or so."
Sam supplied the voice for Afro Samurai in the cartoon, but the physical rigors would be too much to pull off in an actual movie. So who does Sam think would fit the role? None other than Possum Allawishus Jenkins a.k.a. Andre 3000 for short.
Asked who he wants for the flick, the producer responded: "You know, when I look at him, I see Andre 3000," Jackson grinned. "So, maybe so."

big fan right here! Andre would be sweet in this part. would be fun to see him as a kung fu action star. but Afro rarely speaks, so that might be a waste of a good voice...
okay..now i've seen the afro samurai and didn't think afro was samuel l. jackson (even tho its promoted as being him)..just thought he was voicing as afro's main man.
im not really sure about a film devoid of animation..., im still waiting for the japanese version.
