Shes pretty, shes blonde, and shes dating the star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, so it shouldn't be too hard to move from pop to country music right?
Jessica Simpson's live country debut didn't exactly go as planned when she was booed by concertgoers in Wisconsin.
"Just because she's dating Tony Romo it doesn't make her country," Mike Rodriguez, 31, told the paper. "She doesn't fit in with country, and I'll have to drink a lot of beer to sit through her concert."
Being the seasoned professional, Jessica didn't let the jeers rattle her, she soldiered on through the performance to win them over. "I don't know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I'm just a girl from Texas; I'm just like you. I'm doing what I love and dating a boy", Jessica said while addressing the crowd.
At the end of the set Jessica went on to say she has no plans of ever recording another pop album, and that her country debut Do You Know will be in stores this September.
It's probably going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

but she lives in texas for some of the year! doesn't that southernify her? our president lives in texas for some of the year. and he speaks with a mushy texas accent. and he says newkular instead of nuclear. and if larry the fucking cable guy (born daniel lawrence whitney from fucking nebraska) can call himself a good ol' suthun' boy then jessica simpson is legally allowed to make country music.
