Busta Rhymes Dropped From Interscope Records?

Last night, word broke that Busta Rhymes has been dropped from Interscope Records after a heated phone conversation with label head Jimmy Iovine. The unconfirmed report started on 50 Cent's official website (along with the majority of most rumors on the internet), but what gives this news some teeth is the reaction from Interscope.
When an Interscope rep was contacted by SOHH.com for a statement, they responded with, "I can't confirm or deny anything,".
Busta's management team at Violator also refused to comment on the issue at hand so theres definitely something going on behind the scenes right now.
How will this affect Busta's new album that set to come out in the very near future? He's already released two videos for the project, I'd hate to see them scrap it.

Im a little hit and miss with Busta but I hope they dont scrap it either. I dont imagine hes the type to just throw any old thing together, it would be horrible for all his hard work to go down the drain
