DMX has been arrested "3 times in the last 10 days":http://www.defsounds.com/news/Dmx_arrested_again_for_second_time_this_week, and countless times throughout the course of 2008. Everything from drug possession, animal abuse, speeding, and failures to appear, you name it... he's done it.
I miss the old DMX .... the one who changed the entire game. Remember when the entire industry was blinged out? Rapping about getting jiggy wit it, and dancing in shiny suits? X came out of nowhere and put an end to it.
DMX has never been a rapper to brag about how much money he has and how many women he slept with, and that's part of the reason everyone loved him. He may have been in a bunch of movies, but he's one of the least "Hollywood" people you'd find in the industry.
His recent decline into to jail and drugs is extremely sad, I sincerely hope he can get rid of his demons sooner or later.

i was thinking about this recently too. it's hard to tell if DMX is in a downward spiral these days or if it's just bad press. it seems we hear about him being arrested, but we never hear anything about convictions. i dunno, wishful thinking on my part i suppose.
I imagine its a combination of the two, but he really has to smarten up and get it together. Really.....
