Wyclef Mobilizing Earthquake Relief For Haiti

Posted over 2 years ago

If you've heard about the devestation going on in Haiti right now as a result of the earthquake in Port-Au-Prince today and want to help, Wyclef's Yele Haiti Foundation might be a good way to chip in. Wyclef has been extremely active in Haiti over the years providing funds for educational facilities, scholarships and sports programs. Shortly after today's quake, Wyclef took to Twitter and began mobilizing support.

If early estimates of catastrophic damage in Port-Au-Prince prove to ring true, there's no doubt all funds will go toward disaster relief. You can hit up Wyclef's verified Twitter account for the details (and maybe some Earthquake updates you can't get on the news which seem to be scrambling for info right now).

Update: 7:40pm Pacific .. Wyclef appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 to speak on the quake, and getting help to Haiti. Check out the video

I am a registered nurse.  Please let me know as soon as you have infor on how Myself and other nurses can be of assistance to help our brothers and sisters in Haiti.  As of right now there are no agencies that are mobilizing efforts to assist there.
