Ghostride The Whip is a documentary put together by DJ Vlad that explores the origin, customs, and rise of the Hyphy movement in the S.F. Bay Area, California. I'm sure the documentary will be great, but the sad thing is... the documentary is 2 and a half years late. The hyphy movement reached it's peak in 2006 and slowly faded from the national spotlight in the following years.

So as of now, the film will be useful as a fun retrospective of a culture that started on the streets of Oakland and spiraled into a nationwide phenomenon.
