Any moggers out there play Grand Theft Auto? I think this game has ruled my life for the last 4 days. You may be thinking, "wasn't there a four disc set with all the GTA radio station tracks already released?"This one is slightly different. This compilation is a creation of DJ Green Lantern and will contain eight all new tracks along with eight songs already included in the video game. "Liberty City Invasion: Music From And Inspired by Grand Theft Auto IV" will be available as a download on May 20th and on store shelves at a later date. Here's the tracklist:Styles P – 'What's The Problem'Busta Rhymes - 'Where's My Money?'Wyclef, Uncle Murda And Mavado – 'Informer'Joell Ortiz And Dante Hawkins - 'Alone'Jim Jones And Juelz Santana – 'Bustin' Shots'Maino – 'Get Away Driver'Uncle Murda – 'Anybody Can Get It'Fabolous And Fat Joe – 'I'm So Fly'Qadir – 'Nickname'38 Special, Fever & Dwayne – 'Streets Raised Me'Clipse Feat. Re-Up Gang – '9mm'Heltah Skeltah Feat. Buckshot – 'Can't Trust Em'Red Café – 'Stick'm'Immortal Technique – 'Parole'Tru Life – 'Wet Em Up'Johnny Polygon – 'Price On Your Head'*"NME":http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/36741*

  1. mollifire says i'm obsessed with this game too! this is the craziest, most realistic, open-ended game ever. it's insane! i'm stoked to see that "Informer" track on there. been bumpin that one almost a year now, but never figured out what album it was part of.

  2. Charley Rogulewski says haven't played the game, but saw on late night with conan how cool it looks. i remember buying the soundtrack to the 1st or 2nd one. it was cool cuz there were all these hardcore bands I'd heard of, but never got into on it. so it was really nice CD sampler. saw Clipse live for the first time at SXSW and that was awesome.

  3. FluxCapacitor says Yes, I play, and I was only thinking last night (as I dragged a cowering man out of his SUV while being chased by the cops) how fantastic the music is on all the various radio stations, even the Russian channel(!), not to mention the wonderful talk radio segments. Haven't heard the DJ Green Lantern album but I have an official one, not the the four-disc one ( I must look out for it), a shorter one. It's a tad hit and miss. Only features a small representation of the amount of music. Also, I believe Niko can call a number on his cell phone to find out which song is playing...? Thanks for the heads-up on this album.
