If I were forced to pick my top 5 hip hop videos of all time, B.O.B would be an automatic lock to make the list. The imagery and unpredictable nature of everything you witness is ... crazy. I don't know who thought of the concept for this, or how exactly the treatment came to fruition but I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting. The grass is purple, the ground is green, there are baboons in the back of a moving 18 wheeler with strippers, what's not to love?
Probably the coolest moment of the video comes when Big Boi's vehicle drops off of the 18 wheeler in motion and then hits the hydraulics while riding alongside it. After all the visual overload, and a hellafied instrumental... the video ends in church of all places. "Mrs. Jackson" may have been the commercial hit of "Stankonia", but B.O.B was easily the best video.
