Revelation! 50 Cent Admit's His Last Album "Was A Dud"

Posted about 1 year ago
We've all known it since September, but now the artist himself has come out and confessed that maybe his last album wasn't up to par. 50 called his latest album Curtis "a dud" last week during a video blog, and MTV asked him if he still stood by his statement. "It was," he said at his office, located directly one floor above two clubs he has in the house. "It was a blockbuster that I lit, and it didn't explode. I felt like it should have went a lot further than the results I received. Publicly, I feel that 50 Cent fans don't believe it was a dud. It did have 'I Get Money,' it did have 'Ayo Technology,' 'I'll Still Kill,' 'Follow My Lead' with Robin Thicke. These records were hit records, but the timing they came out was wrong."
Okay, maybe he didn't exactly say his music was crap, but I believe thats all we're going to get. During his interview with MTV, Fif also previewed the new G-Unit album which I'm looking forward to.
Did any of you actually listen to Curtis?

  1. TroyPowers says "Ayo Technology"!!! THAT was the second single off of Curtis. For the life of me, I couldn't remember anything beyond "I Get Money." For the record, 50's last TWO albums were duds. The Massacre sucked plumber's ass crack too. I'll give it to him though, he managed to get a lot of momentum out of one great album.

  2. MrFrost says Actually, Ayo Technology was the 4th single. The first single and video were "Straight To The Bank" in April, then he released "Amusement Park"... When both of those singles flopped the album was pushed back to September. In mid-late summer, he released "I Get Money"....and finally 'Ayo Technology" in mid September. Those were followed up by "Follow my lead" and "I'll still kill" Pretty much all of them flopped except I Get Money
