Wow... Remy Ma Found Guilty, Facing Up to 25 Years

T.I. may have gotten a slap on the wrist from the feds today, but it looks like Remy Ma will be in jail for a long time. She was convicted of two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon. She shot a "friend" Makeda Barnes-Joseph during an altercation over money last summer.
"She quietly wiped away tears as the verdict was read, then wailed loudly and sobbed openly after she was outside the courtroom. Many of her supporters also cried."Remy's taking this very, very hard. She didn't anticipate this," defense lawyer Ivan Fisher said after the verdict. He added that the rapper had not prepared her 8-year-old son for her imprisonment.
