Judge Allows T.I. to Attend Easter Services

Posted about 1 year ago
T.I. will step foot outside his home for the first time in almost five months on Easter Sunday. He's been under house arrest since early October awaiting trial on weapons charges, and a federal magistrate judge has allowed him to attend Easter services. This move is slightly surprising considering the fact that T.I. was not allowed to invite family into his home on Thanksgiving. The rapper must be flanked by a court approved monitor and his lawyer while he's outside the home. The field trip may only last from 8:30am to 2pm before he must return to his cozy prison.
Aside from being able to spend time with his children, the lone perk of house arrest is T.I. says he's close to finishing a new album. While he wouldn't give a release date for "Paper Trail", many speculate we could see it as early as August.
