Bubba Sparxxx Switches Record Labels, Preps New Album

Bubba Sparxxx has left Big Boi's roster and will release his fourth studio album this summer via Koch Records. Bubba and Big Boi of Outkast linked up in 2006 to release "The Charm", which spawned his last hit record "Ms. New Booty". While Big Boi may have the golden touch with his own group Outkast, his label situation has never quite panned out. His crown jewel Janelle Monae moved on to greener pastures with Diddy's Bad Boy Records this month also.
Bubba Sparxxx will release a mixtape this year (presumably before the new album) to reacquaint fans with his music. Also included in the Koch deal is a home for Sparxxx's "New South Entertainment'". If the new album takes off we can definitely expect a roster of up and coming emcees under Bubba's wing to sprout up.
