50 Says Young Buck Not Leaving G-Unit, but M.O.P Is

Artist:
With the wild speculation that Young Buck is on his way out of the door at G-Unit, 50 Cent took time out and addressed the rumors yesterday during a radio interview. Surprisingly, 50 says everything is just a misunderstanding and there is no ill will between him and Buck.

"It looks crazy because he just ain't there, then you come back and see the tape and he ain't there, but it's not what people think it is," 50 told Kay Slay.
So why isn't Young Buck on the new G-Unit mixtape? Why did he not participate in the international tour with the rest of the group? 50 says it was all a scheduling conflict.
"It felt like there was nothing out there, so we went in and recorded it in one weekend, the 'Return of the Bodysnatchers,'" 50 explained. "There's been a lot of speculation because Buck is just on that one joint, that wasn't recorded during the process of making this tape, that joint was something we did awhile back.""During the actual international tour, Buck was scheduled to go on the 'Young Rich Tour' - the tour Sha Money was putting together for him and Rich Boy - and I didn't know that didn't actually materialize while I was overseas," he added. "[And] that's why they didn't see Buck overseas with us. He was in Nashville while we was in New York the weekend we decided to put the tape together."

In other G-Unit News, M.O.P. is finally leaving the label after three years. No album ever materialized for the Mash Out Posse under 50 Cent's reign. According to their manager, Laze Elliot, 50 didn't think one of the members were in the right space to release an album.
"I think [if we] would have got our record out earlier, that would have set a clear quality precedent," said Laze." All the aesthetic issues would have been solved and we'd be on the second album by now. I knew we were going to have problems though, because 50 needed the group to be in a certain space in order for him to co-sign it.""He didn't feel Fame was in that space physically or mentally," Laze continued.“He shouldn't have to [understand Fame], but there are many talented artists in history that you don't know where their talent comes from."
