Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, & Jennifer Hudson Sign Up For Bee Movie

Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Hudson are all on board to appear in a coming of age tale titled "The Secret Life of Bees".
""Bees," a drama set in the Southern U.S. in the 1960s, centers on teenager Lily Owens (Fanning) and her friend Rosaleen (Hudson), who flee their hometown to escape their harsh upbringing and seek to uncover the mysteries of Lily's late mother. Along the way, they encounter three beekeeping sisters (Latifah, Sophie Okonedo, Keys) who take the pair in to their South Carolina home."
The script for this film has already been completed, so the writers strike won't halt progress. Production is slated to kick off next month. In the meantime Jennifer Hudson will be appearing in the new 'Sex In The City' movie, while Latifah stars in 'Mad Money' hitting theaters soon.
