AT&T released a list of the top selling ringtones in 2007, and it's dominated by hip hop music. "Ringtone Rap" has been a hot topic amongst hip hop fans for the last year, with many believing that record labels push artists to make one catchy song instead of an entire quality album. It only takes one glance at the list to realize many of these artists faded away after their first single (Huey, MIMS, Shop Boyz, Hurricane Chris, Soulja Boy). 50 Cent is the poster boy for capitalism in music and even he's spoken out against "Ringtone Rap".
