First it was "stress and extreme exhaustion", then it was an "infected appendix" but the story just wouldn't die. So Bow Wow finally came out and told the truth about why he had to go to the hospital, and it involves a tantrum.
Bow Wow threw a fit in his dressing room, which somehow caused him to cut his hand. They couldn't stop the cut from bleeding, so Bow Wow wrapped it up and went out to perform his show. After the concert he fainted from the energy exerted from performing coupled with the blood loss. While he was in the hospital, doctors found another problem with his white blood cells, which prompted him to stay longer until they checked it out

I fainted, went to the hospital, threw up and then they told me my white blood cells were higher than what they're supposed to be. They were looking at my appendix. I've always had stomach issues. I've always had stomach problems. But like I said, we're gonna see if it's that serious that I have to take that surgery. If that's what I gotta do, that's what I gotta do. The appendix is a life- threatening thing."
