Jive Records put together a short Pimp C tribute video on Youtube in honor of the UGK member. The video features prominent southern rappers speaking on the role UGK played in their development as artists. UGK earned their first Grammy nomination for "International Players Anthem" shortly after Pimp C's passing. Although they were nominated for Big Pimpin many years ago, it was essentially a Jay-Z song.
