According to a release from his publicist, the young rapper has an infected appendix which sparked the hospital stay. Since his last show on Chris Brown's Exclusive tour in Cincinnati, Bow Wow has missed dates in Chicago and Detroit, along with an upcoming gig in Baltimore.
He's expected to make a full recovery and rejoin the tour on Wednesday in Memphis, Tennessee. His new album Face Off with Omarion is scheduled for release tomorrow.
