Update On Spice 1 Shooting; Condition Improving

Spice 1's condition has been improving since the initial announcement of his critical state on December 3rd after being shot in his vehicle. It was originally reported that rapper Spice 1 was shot twice, once in the chin and once in the chest, but we now know that he only suffered one gunshot. The bullet that penetrated his chest punctured his lung, but he's coming along regardless.

“He’s in pain, but otherwise he’s coming along really well,” his mother, Jean Green-Craven told the Chronicle. “He’s a very lucky young man.”
Another error in initial reports suggested Spice was asleep in his car when the shooting took place, but Spice says he was talking to his girlfriend on the phone. He then says someone approached the vehicle and tried to open the door, when he asked who the person was they shot him and fled. The shooting is not believed to be the result of any hip hop feuds or beefs with anyone.
