Rapper Spice 1 Shot, In Critical Condition

Hip hop artist Spice 1 was shot twice early Monday morning in Hayward, California and is listed in critical condition. Spice was shot once in the chin, and once in the chest, it's said that the bullet in his chest narrowly missed his heart. The circumstances of the shooting are being kept under wraps, along with the particular hospital he's being kept at.
Spice 1, real name Robert Green, enjoyed most of his mainstream success in the 90s on Jive Records. Since then he's been a mainstay in the underground circuit and is regarded as a legend of Bay Area rap music. “There’s been all sorts of crazy rumors that he died,” says Spice's manager Six. “He is in critical condition, but it looks like he’s going to pull through.”
