Remy Ma Charged With Assault & Tampering w/ A Witness In Murder Case

Remy Ma and Foxy Brown could write a book on how to ensure you'll go to jail despite being a celebrity. Manhattan District Attorney spokesman Edison Alban revealed that Remy Ma (born Remy Smith) has been charged with gang assault, tampering with a witness, intimidating a victim and third-degree assault (in addition to her existing attempted murder charge).
The new legal troubles came after Remy allegedly spotted the boyfriend of a witness, and then ordered him to be roughed up a little. The man who was assaulted suffered a fractured bone in his face from the altercation, his acquaintance also suffered a broken jaw. The judge presiding over the case ruled that Remy would not have to post additional bail for the new charges. Prosecution has argued that she has attempted to contact witnesses on various occasions to persuade them not to come forward with information.
Remy is scheduled to be back in court on September 20.
