Courtney Love Tried To Save Owen Wilson Before Suicide Attempt

When Courtney Love tells you that you need to take it down a notch, it really should register that you're going about this substance abuse thing the wrong way.
Family and friends of the actor have banded together to offer support after Wilson slit his wrists and took pills in an effort to end his life. Owen had been hanging with people in Hollywood who were known to experiment with hard drugs, namely Steve Coogan.
"I went through it with Steve," rocker Courtney Love told Us Magazine. "I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs," she says. "I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends ... I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy."
Coogan was expectedly not happy with Love's claims, releasing a statement calling them, “unhelpful and hurtful”. Love's claims about Coogan seem to be echoed by Wilson's ex girlfriend Kate Hudson, who barred Coogan from entering her home.
