Musical Legend Bo Diddley Back in Hospital

While undergoing a routine medical checkup last Friday, acclaimed musician Bo Diddley suffered a heart attack. During the course of his exam Diddley complained of his nauseousness and felt dizzy. He was immediately rushed to North Florida Regional Medical Center’s emergency room where he suffered a heart attack. Diddley went under the knife and had a procedure done to help blood flow to his heart, he is now in the cardiac care unit and listed as stable.

Diddley’s last hospital stay happened in mid May when he suffered a mild stroke. Diddley was released on May 29th and entered Shands Rehab Hospital to undergo therapy.
Diddley was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1987 and was given a lifetime achievement Grammy in 1998. His music has been a pillar of rock every since he wowed the nation with his grooves in the 1950s. His hits include songs that have been covered by some of musics greats such as“Who Do You Love,” “Before You Accuse Me,” Mona” and “I’m A Man.”
Updates on Bo’s current state will be released as necessary, his family asks everyone to respect their privacy and send many thanks for the support.
