Killer Mike isn't one of my favorite rappers just because he makes good music. Killer Mike is a favorite of mine because he's shown that he's one of the most intelligent artists in hip hop music. Just by hearing him speak in interviews, you can tell that he truly "gets it".
In this video he touches on a ton of topics, namely why he thinks Andre 3000 and Cee-Lo are hurting hip hop (yup....now you HAVE to watch it).

for anyone interested, I featured Mike's new single 2 Sides here

This is another trademark posse cut from DJ Khaled. "Out Here Grindin" features Akon, Rick Ross, Plies, Trick Daddy, Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne & Ace Hood. This is rumored to be the first single off Khaled's new album.
You read that correctly, aside from Khaled's annoying chants, seven different rappers spit verses on the song. Unlike "I'm So Hood", and "We Takin Over", this track doesn't have the infectious chorus that made the others so likable.
Surprisingly, I think Lil Boosie has the best verse on the song. I'm sure most people would have assumed Lil Wayne ran away with that honor.
Due to DMX 's numerous run ins with the law, it's become necessary to give each one a timestamped snazzy title to differentiate them.
The latest arrest comes by way of speeding. X was caught by highway cameras (see attached photo), going over 100mph in a 60mph zone. He's being charged with racing on a highway, driving on a suspended license, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment and three counts of criminal speed.
"According to the DPS , DMX (real name: Earl Simmons) was photographed by stationary traffic cameras positioned along the Loop 101 freeway in Scottsdale, Arizona. The cameras caught DMX driving a bright yellow 1966 Chevy Nova II — with a large "DMX" decal emblazoned across the windshield — well over the posted 65 mph speed limit, not once but three times.
DMX has made it very clear (through actions and words), that he's going to drive whenever he wants, and however he wants. Therefore its safe to assume he'll be back up to his old tricks when this ordeal is behind him.

is it just me or do all those counts sound like the same crime worded differently? how can someone commit one crime and get punished 6 different ways? criminal speed? racing? reckless driving? that's the same thing!
yeah, it does seem like some BS... but then again... DMX is way past the point where he can say the police are picking on him. He just doesnt care about driving laws.
You'd think he'd at least be smart enough to put one of his rivals names across his windshield (Is it 50 cent? I'm a little behind on my hip hop beefs). That way they'd just pick on them instead.

EXCELLENT interview!
You lookin forward to the new album next month Troy? I'm actually gonna buy this one with my own money.
Wow, I didn't know it was finally dropping. I'll definitely be picking that up.
Man, when he started running down his list of MCs that are messing up the game, I was just like "WHAT?!!?" When he got to Rakim, I couldn't believe it!
That's my dude though. Killer Mike is consistently on point.
