...the Garden State Soundtrack? I remember thinking I wanted it, but it just got .. lost in the shuffle somehow. Well, I've finally found it, and fallen in love. Not only are (most) all of the songs excellent, they're by really great bands. "New Slang" was just the jolt I needed to convince me I ought to buy the new Shins album, and I'm developing quite a taste for Colin Hay, not to mention Simon and Garfunkel. It fits nicely into my recent absorption with coffee-house (-esque) music, and hey, if you know any other great, "chill" bands/albums, let me know.
