Kind Of Perfect

It really is a cliche: "Kind Of Blue" is the best music album ever. Not best jazz or instrumental album, is the best MUSIC album ever produced. It would be my choice if I only had to live with one album for the rest of my life. A full mosaic of deep emotions and feelings, "Kind Of Blue" is perfect when you feel sad, happy, upbeat, downbeat, creative, introspective, kinky, you name it, is the perfect soundtrack for most everyday life situations. It is incredible to know that this album was recorded in a couple of sessions and the musicians involved were given just a few hints and directions from Miles, the rest is musical interaction, perfect human interaction, telepathy. The solos are perfectly blended against an inventive rhythm section, the main themes and the melodies of Cannonball Adderly, John Coltrane and Miles are timeless. Bill Evans is the secret weapon behind the music artillery that surrounds "Kind Of Blue", he sets a bed of chords that is so simple and beautiful that it makes everything sound Kind Of Perfect. I have listened to this album maybe a few hundred times, I could listen to it non-stop for eternity and I wouldn´t get tired of it....ever.
