Apostrophe (')

Artist:
OK guys and girls, this a masterpiece of an album, one that really could exemplify the classic rock period of Zappa´s gigantic oeuvre. Between 1973 and 1975, Zappa released 4 amazing classic rock albums ( Over-nite Sensation, Apostrophe, Roxy & Elsewhere and my favorite of them all, One Size Fits All), Apostrophe was, for the very first time in his career, a commercial and critically acclaimed and successful album. The recording is pristine, full of details, genius arrangements, lots of sense of humour and brilliant compositions from one of the most amazing composers of the 20th Century. Listen to the album as a whole and give it a chance with several listenings if the message doesn´t comes through at first, Zappa´s music is not for everybody but once you start to enjoy it the pleasure never stops. This album is recommended for those that want to start digging Zappa´s enormous discography of more than 80 albums. Songs like "Don´t Eat That Yellow Snow", "Nanook Rubs It", "Cosmik Debris" and "Stink-Foot", are fan favourites and standards in Zappa´s live work throughout his career.14 years have passed since FZ left this world, his musical and artistic legacy will live on for generations to come.
