I heard from one of my friends that The Postal Service is working on a new album and it should be out in the near future. He didn't know much else. Anyone have the answers to fill in the blanks. (I don't like going off of what my friend said)

Cinful says I haven't heard the name of the PS album, but Dcfc just listed theirs yesterday ... it'll be NARROW STAIRS.

Caleb Neubauer says I can't say I've heard that there's an album coming in March - as of late fall 2007, they only had two songs complete, and only a few others being worked on. I doubt that they're even close; I've heard late 2008 is when they hope to release it. As for an album name, I read somewhere that it was possibly going to be called "Give In", which is similar to "Give Up", so that makes sense. We'll see! Caleb By the way, check out my last post - it has links to view and listen to a 40-minute long live show on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic show. Postal Service gold, if you know what I mean...

laura27 says yeah they're definitely working on one, and have been for over a year on and off. haven't heard anything about release dates, i don't want to get my hopes up but march would be awesome! i just bought Give Up on vinyl, it sounds even better, if that's possible :D
