I heard from one of my friends that The Postal Service is working on a new album and it should be out in the near future. He didn't know much else. Anyone have the answers to fill in the blanks. (I don't like going off of what my friend said)
Alright. I realized this a while back and figured i'd share on my post. Why? Who knows. Partly cause i think its freakin awesome and partly cause its late. i got a tattoo in february. I love it. I had put some thought into it and it has a meaningful story behind it. (people, on the other hand, look at me like i'm retarded when i tell them the meaning) The tattoo is my own personal independence day. I got a Roman Numeral tattooed on my forearm. well i was listening to Modest Mouse's Lounge and...well the song speaks for itself. The first few words of the song blew me away. I should say that Modest Mouse is my all-time favourite band.

"ignore the ignorant" is my motto ... if they 'don't get it', just smile at 'em. someday they might, but they also may never, and that's cool. tattoos are intended for the wearer, not the viewer and that's the way it should be ...
if you asked my son about any of his, he'd just say ... "i just felt like it", or "it's just cool" ... that is, of course, if he responded at all. they're his tattoos and he feels he doesn't have to make people understand the 'whys' and 'wheres'.

I am in love. This is the first love that i have felt for someone who isn't a family member or close friend; and while i had somewhat of a hard time accepting it, i'm glad i did. Anyways, without getting too sappy about details and just how much i love this person, here is a song that i felt was appropriate.

my son is your age and I'm still waiting for him to find 'the one' .... but he's in no hurry and I'm cool with that.
