Buzzcocks on AARP Ad?

Posted over 2 years ago
Sad but true, my friends. The Buzzcocks, known in their prime for their brash youthfulness, are now own a retirement ad. The spot features "Everybody's Happy Nowadays." What does that tell us? You tell me.

  2. mytvc15 says I don't think it's sad. I'd rather hear a Buzzcocks' song than some other lame song touting AARP. I think it's age-appropriate advertising. And, what a great way to get new fans hipped to the Buzzcocks. Love that song! Be reminded that Mick Jagger sang "Time Waits For No One" the year he turned 30 -- he'll be 64 this year.

  3. Mmccormick88 says Well, I guess it's true that it was a well done ad. I think what's bothersome about this is not really even that the Buzzcocks were used on a TV spot (Wasn't their some Car ad with "What Do I Get?") but what it was advertising. You think of the Buzzcocks as so youthful, you know?
