... so Rob Sheffield's Love Is a Mix Tape got me to actually drag out my old Walkman in order to listen to mix tapes from various periods of my life ... this has basically occurred when soaking in a tub at night ...... tonight I accidentally hit the button that shifted the mode from 'cassette' to 'radio,' and was surprised to find that all of the tuner buttons were still set to the radio stations I listened to in college ... and the last time I was there was, oh, 2000 ...DAMN, that was weird.
