I've been trying to find Yellow Magic Orchestra videos recently because of their appearance at Live Earth and I came across this cliched 80's music video from Greg Phillinganes covering YMO's 'Behind The Mask'. Greg is a successful session musician who has played with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Toto as well as releasing several solo albums. The additional lyrics were written by Mr. Jackson who wanted to use it on 'Thriller'(which Greg also played on) which YMO turned down - D'OH! It eventually became a top 20 hit in the UK by Eric Clapton but I prefer this version from Greg's 1984 album 'Pulse'. Check out the melatron action, parachute pants and the sweet jazz hand choreography.
